Administrative Office at the Reed Center for RSU # 2

Currently, the RSU # 2 Administration is seeking to purchase/use/rent the Reed Center for administrative offices. SAD # 16 has invested more than $50,000 in the building. Should the City of Hallowell consider partnering with the RSU to secure the use of the Reed Center for RSU use?

    The city might want to consider partnering with the local/regional school district for Stevens School uses.

    Currently Reed Center is used for administration.
    In the past the building to the right at the entry way to the Reed Center was used as an alternative school for Halldale students.

    The property should be looked at for its possibilities in the educational arena.
