The Comprehensive Planning Committee spent its last meeting discussing ideas that would make Hallowell a destination. How could the Stevens School fits into that notion?
ReplyDeleteIf the original school buildings and the new school built in the 1960's evolved into buildings that supported educational programming for all ages, a destination would be created. How could we entice a school or schools to set up at the complex. -- a music school, a trades school, an art school, a performing art school, private pre-school.
If Hallowell were to purchase the property, then uses such as these could be explored and orchestrated.
